This is an area of Orlando that is probably more recognizable to the well seasoned traveler.

Probably the best way to explain to you is that if you were to address a parcel to be sent to Walt Disney World itself, you wouldn't address it to Walt Disney World, Florida - you would address it to: Walt Disney World, Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Get the picture? Both areas are very much one in the same and like it's counterpart, 'International Drive' in Orlando, Lake Buena Vista was also conceived on a drawing board. A very prestigious address, reflected in accommodation rates.
Lake Buena Vista contains the Downtown Disney area of Disney World.
